Beveled fireplace mantel is pictured in plaster. This contemporary mantel can also be made from sandstone and limestone. Cast Stone is another great option. All cast stone fireplace mantels can be made-to-order or custom. If you would like it large that is an option as well as making it smaller. This is a simple modern fireplace design that we offer with an arched header as well. To. give this design a more modern feel consider having it made from a black or white marble. Having the marble in a honed finish versus a traditional polished finish will give it an even more modern characteristics,
